“Its higher up in the hills, its far enough from the busy areas so its peacefull, all you hear is the chickens. Mountains look foggy and mysterious. Its a good location to go in walks from, I saw lots of the famous terraced fields. Room was clean and nice, good service and communication from the hosts. 250k VND to go to Sapa town, but the countryside is better than the town”

“I picked Sapaxa as I wanted to experience Sapa much closer to nature. There are only 8 cottages so it is such an itimate vibe. Mua really helped with everything that you need and really my made my stay so much better. The bed is one of the most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep on! An hour hike away is a Hmong village, easy hike and do not miss out on the herbal bath in the village. The water pressure in the shower is not the best but the hot water at least is very good. “We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it.”
