“We recently stayed at the Hahndorf Farm Barn and overall had a wonderful experience. While our first impression was a little rocky, the accommodation was still being cleaned when we arrived, the staff were lovely and welcoming. One of the team kindly took us through the barn while we waited, and the kids absolutely loved feeding the baby lambs.Once we settled in, the rest of the stay was perfect. The space was well laid out, with plenty of room for both adults and kids to relax and enjoy……

“Wonderful stay with a view and so peaceful.5 mums for a 2 nights getaway. Close to wineries.House is beautiful with everything that you might need. 6 bedrooms (4 doubles and 2 singles) and 3 full bathrooms. Kitchen is fantastic and big to cook or sit around, utensils, dishes, pans, wine glasses available; coffee machine might need replacing. The fireplace inside was fantastic, we sat around to chat with a glass of wine; there is also a fire pit outdoors. Only thing missing according to one of……

“Wonderful stay was great proximity to explore the hills and restaurants and wineries. Was a hot weekend the house was lovely and cool and it was wonderful to sit outside on cool lawns and enjoy the views ”

“Perfect for our family get together. We made good use of the fireplace. The breakfast supplies were wonderful, beautiful fresh, local produce. Pool table was a hit. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable with gorgeous country views.”

“A very poor experience - the house was dirty - I had to clean the kitchen - the fridge was full of meat that wasn't frozen and smelt - it was so unhygenic we didn't eat in it - the bedroom was musty and had cobwebs throughout - the bathroom was dirty and there was no toilet paper - someone arrived home at 11.30 and let dogs into the house so that I was bailed up in the bathroom.we want a refund for a very poor experience”

“Mary and Sarah were very helpful during our stay, the home is well equipped with bedding, towels, toiletries, basic food items and laundry products which was very helpful for our big group. The outdoor area was perfect for the kids to play and the supplied sports equipment was much appreciated. The house doesn’t have WIFI but we loved that we could all unplug from devices and enjoy the week together to encourage the kids to play outside more. Thank you for a lovely stay, highly recommend. ”
