“Everything was very nice and clean. Perfect size for a couple. We are young so we didn’t have a problem walking to downtown Helen but it is a 15-20 minute walk. Overall 5 stars!”

“The apartment itself was lovely and I appreciated the coffee for our stay. Please consider adding a sign/wreath/decoration to the front dooor that says “Alan’s Apartment “. It was very confusing to find the right door. Beautifully furnished and wonderful bed. It’s difficult for someone with my mobility issues to go up a 10 stair stairway holding onto warped banisters. Though it is on the first floor, that first floor was 1 story up. The hot tub was a nice addition! Please add grab bars or a……

“Reminiscent of a pension in Germany, Schönes Haus is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed for overnight needs. It’s tucked away in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with convenient parking, and just minutes from downtown Helen. Host James is very helpful, responsive, and accommodating. “Just off the strip next to really great restaurants. Peaceful and quiet with a big space for our family to enjoy the tranquility of Helen GA. Fantastic restaurants two blocks away. Fantastic internet to research the next day. We had a great time. Very clean and new townhouse. Would stay again. ”

“We booked this place on a somewhat spontaneous whim. Admittedly we initially decided on it because it cost less than the surrounding area and it was less than a mile walk into town. However, once we arrived, the unit was lovely, up to date, clean, and just overall comfortable to just relax in. It also didn’t hurt that the property itself is right on the water, and much more quieter than if we had gone to a tourist trap in town.
