“Even better than it looked in the photos. A very remarkable place for the price. Superb room with old features, but modern fittings. Super comfortable bed. Great staff. We had a meal in the restaurant and that too was excellent.. Perfect for the ferry or your Normadi D-Day tours. Pegasus bridge is 5 mins walks and there are 2 bakeries and 2 bars nearby... ”

“They did not tell me that the roads were up around the village and it was impossible to get to the place . This was a DDay night before stay so it was emotionally important couldn’t if get them by phone . Went to tourist info and they told me it was impossible after 2 hours of trying . Luckily I managed to get a cancellation in Caen as all hotels were sold out , if we hadn’t we would have had to sleep in our car . Awful ”

“Good: Close to city centre, bus stops. Very willing friendly reception. Quiet room and very clean . Not so good : Bathroom small with shower curtains which meant water everywhere. Toiletries very basic. Room : lacking of coffee/tea facilities in room Overall : Adequate for one night or 2 stay. Pricey for basic accommodation . ”
