“My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. The kitchenette had everything you would need to cook a small meal which was nice. The disposable coffee cups were so nice to have so we could take a coffee to-go. “The Red Star Cottage did not disappoint. Great spot for a small group of friends looking to get away from the city noise. The lake was great for our dog to swim and play and the paddle boat and row boat were out too. Pre season, so it was too chilly for us humans to swim. But lake was clean and sandy bottom! We had a bonfire with s’mores, grilled on the deck, and sat out under the stars. The cottage came with everything you would need. Only feedback would be more Tupperware to use for……
