“Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs. “I stayed at this property for 3day/2nights. The staff was amazing. They are some of the nicest kindest people you will meet. We felt safe and learned an enormous amount about the animals in the area. It was my bday and they made me a cake and sang, it was unforgettable. Memories for a lifetime. “We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, kind and helpful - and went out of their way to make our stay amazing.
