“We had a short stopover at Blue Mountain. The view was fantastic! The hotel invested in good quality fixtures: the rooms are spacious, the pool and garden terrace very nice and the bathroom with a view worth it. It’s overall comfortable and clean. Food served was also good and staff was attentive to our needs. I would rank Blue Moutain higher than most accommodations in Sri Lanka, and it would need just a bit more efficiency and attention to details to qualify for high-end. ”

“The hotel was nice but they couldn’t find our reservation and wanted to charge us for a rate they charge people who show up last minute. I went into my Expedia app and messaged them and then they could find it. Room was nice and clean.”

“Convenient location. Just close to all main attraction and restaurants, such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandy lake. The hotel itself looks elegant and the maintenance is quite good. I especially enjoy the life that you can feel the living history of the hotel. It is also conformable to stay in the room. Good choice or stay here of you visit Kandy.”

“The house is a bit up-hill. Better take a local taxi to drive you there. The host gave me a shortcut to walk down to the main road which is much convenient and fast for down-hill. This is a homestay, the host is living on the ground floor and 3 guestrooms on the second floor. I do love the common area upstair very much. Sit down with a cup of tea to relax for a whole day is the best moment in the house. The room is clean and comfortable. Though hot water seems not very work but still fine for……

“When we arrived the hotel was closed. We were given no notice. We were concerned as we had already paid for the hotel. A security guard directed us their sister hotel who honoured our booking which was great but not the experience we expected. I would say the pictures must have also been misleading given it was closed for renovation. The sister hotel was in a great location but very old and rooms not great. Would have preferred to be told and have booked elsewhere. ”
