“We loved our stay at Spring Bay. The porch with the river view was our favorite part! Saw bald eagles and deer. The Current River outfitters stop putting you on after Labor Day, so we did a 14 mile float on the Eleven Point River. Hufstedler’s will put you on that river 365 days a year! The Eleven Point is a “protected” river so we had the whole float to ourselves, with an occasional fly fisherman. Saw more bald eagles, belted kingfisher’s and a bobcat! “Enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place! It had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the showers was great. Nice, safe location. Easy to get to/from places. Place has a garage which we used one evening during a rain storm but otherwise felt completely safe leaving our vehicle on driveway overnight.
