“We rented the house for a family wedding in Gruene so we could all stay together. The view is so beautiful and the accommodation was perfect for a large family ”

“We had a family birthday party and stayed here with family coming from various parts of Texas. The house was clean and very accommodating. The girls loved the huge mirror in the hallway to get ready. The guys enjoyed the mancave garage conversion in the back. We were in town a lot and did not have time to use the fire pit or the hot tub. But, both were prepped and ready to go. It's a cool spot to rest between Gruene, shopping, New Braunsfels, etc. We'd definitely consider this property……

“I booked this property for my 40th birthday - the goal was to have a relaxing weekend with friends cooking, hanging by the pool, and playing games. This property was PERFECT for our stay. The home was clean and very well stocked. While many properties can hold a large group, the spacing of the home allowed privacy and the common areas had more than enough seating for our group of 13. Adding the heated pool option was perfect for the weather and instructions for the hot tub were easy to follow.……

“So beautiful, so clean, so quiet---so---amazing! Great house, fun, amazing Bosch appliances ( love the electronically operated shower :) ). Walking distance to town, great shopping, great food, super friendly people, great music close by. The house has everything you will need, including a great full kitchen.This was our first time to visit this town, and, we went to Whitewater Amph and saw Willie Nelson (what a great time).Our host, Terry is so gracious and we had a lot of fun talking,……

“We love coming to Gruene / New Braunfels area!! My husband and I actually stayed at this property 10 years ago when it was a Bed & Breakfast. It is a little different now being a Vrbo rental, but it is still a great property. It is quite, clean, and lots of wildlife. We loved our trip and will definitely rent here again. ”

“Great for the price ”

“Our son was marrying his long time girlfriend, a true celebration. My wife and i had number 3 son and only/ youngest daughter (#4) and their spouses. No 1 son and his wife and mom- in- law and no2 son and imminent wife joined us for pizza at the house. The deck was fabulous with gorgeous view with plenty of space. House was well appointed and tasteful decorations and furniture.Not a full 5 on description because while listing stated pet friendly there was a one dog limit (in the small print”……

“The property easily accommodated our group. However if you have a large group, there are only 3 bathrooms. This made showering and getting ready for our outings a bit stressful. The students loved the pool, river, and the billiards table. ”

“This was a great place and perfect for our family of 4. One main issue we had (really the only thing) is there are no curtains in the bedrooms. It would be sooo nice if they added curtains to block out the morning light. Also, could use some updated sheets, the ones on our bed were pilling pretty bad. Other that those 2 things, it was a great stay and we hope to be back! ”
