“We had a blast in Gruene. Checking out the music scene and retreating to this little cottage. It was the perfect stay. A short drive from Gruene Hall and just barely out of town a lot to see so many deer in the yard. The cottage was clean, well kept and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend this place. Would stay there again if I find myself in that neck of the woods again”

“The tiny house was perfect for me and my wife for a weekend getaway. Nestled in a patch of woods away from the busy streets but close enough to town for daily activities. We loved it.”

“Very quiet and the room was clean. They provided coffee and we also had a refrigerator in the room. Parking was so easy. Very walkable to Gruene, about 10 minutes. The only issue we had was the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work. I let them know at check out and got an immediate response. This was our second stay at this property and we will return again.”

“Good for small family to hang out/fish/grill out”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property. The proximity to the river is great. The area was peaceful in the evening. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Easy drive to Gruen and all the great shops and restaurants there. Will definitely stay here again if we come back that way. ”

“Nice place to relax and take it all in. I work in the oil and gas industry so attention to deal is up front with me. There were things that I noticed that I saw but my wife was oblivious too. Things that I would take care of but most people don’t pay attention too”

“Everything about this property was perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. Gated entrance, private river access close to the water, and beautiful location. Just set your stuff up at the river and leave it until you go home. The cottage was unbelievable. Outdoor grilling area downstairs overlooking the river, and a screened in porch upstairs. The interior was amazing with the original wood floors and unique decor. Everything was thought of. Comfortable beds, nice linens, extra blankets, and……

“Comfortable little room. We came for a Paul Thorn concert at the Brauntex. Perfect spot. Close to everything we needed/wanted. And, as you can see, Bed was the most comfortable of all the places we’ve stayed the last 9 years.”

“This was a great place and perfect for our family of 4. One main issue we had (really the only thing) is there are no curtains in the bedrooms. It would be sooo nice if they added curtains to block out the morning light. Also, could use some updated sheets, the ones on our bed were pilling pretty bad. Other that those 2 things, it was a great stay and we hope to be back! ”
