“Do not let an unmanned desk deter you from staying here. We made a simple call from the supplied house phone and a gentleman was to the front desk within just a couple of minutes. Check in went smooth at this family owned lodge/hotel, the room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, cable TV worked well, had a small table with 2 chairs, plus it has a dorm fridge and microwave that also worked well. “Located just off the highway, this was a great location for our purpose of visiting Door County. Breakfast selection was good. Several restaurants in walking distance (the Mexican is CLOSED on Sundays), we enjoyed the Sports Bar down the road. The room was comfortable and quiet and well appointed. Staff was friendly and we felt safe in the location. ”

“The hotel can be loud if there are kids playing on the main floor, since the hotel rooms are around the outside of the building and is open in the middle. Nice staff, clean, loved the separate sitting area great for visiting outside of a bedroom. The first time going the parking was extremely confusing, and why pay for parking...I don't get that. The bar was convenient, the food there eh greasy but again nice staff.”
