“Melanie and Gary were great from moment we reserved the annex for a last minute long weekend. The annex is a suite of 2BRs, kitchen and bath w/a lovely patio where u can grill. When I noticed that there wasn't a hairdryer as advertised, Melanie immediately ordered one to be delivered. Everything we needed was available. Location great for exploring Litchfield county.”

“A delightful place. Having the lake to ourselves with magnificent views plus a property that has plenty to keep everyone active--including the very active 4 year old in our group--was amazing. Do note that the downstairs bathroom has narrow doors so mobility impaired people may not be able to access it without assistance. ”

“We rented this place for the first time for a family gathering. The setting was very private and “country-ish”. For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub……

“This cozy cottage is exactly as listed and so much more! It is very spacious inside and was immaculate. The hostess left us waters and snacks which was a nice touch when we arrived. The firepit was so nice to enjoy on a chilly night. The house was situated very close to White Memorial Conservation Center and to downtown Litchfield. It was simply perfect and we will definitely be back.”

“Close to new milford and Washington, this is easy to find with great instructions. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of room throughout the entire property. The amount of space here is perfect. There are board games, TV, and great views if you just like to enjoy nature. Great lighting throughout the house and b outside. Plenty of good reading spots. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with appliances, utensils, plates, cups, towels, soaps, etc. The owners have……
