“The Rose is brand new and very modern/chic. Rooms are large (my king bedroom had a sitting area with a couch) and have plenty of outlets for electronics. Nice amenities such as free bottled water and a complementary breakfast bag delivered to your room containing muffins, apples, granola bars and juice. The staff has been well trained in hospitality and are warm, smiling and helpful. The gaming area is great fun and has many popular slots. New players get $50 free play! I will.be back.”

“I liked this hotel. It was simple, basic, quiet, clean and most importantly I felt safe. I stayed here alone and felt very comfortable. That's about all I need in a hotel room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the room was clean and didn't smell which is very important. I forgot my cleaning wipes and asked the front desk if they had anything I could use, she gave me some cleaning spray and a cloth. The only thing I would complain about is the size of the……

“I loved how tucked away it was and right next to the water. My wife and I enjoyed stargazing at night since there’s little to no lights out at the beach. The one thing I would ask for them to change is the mattress it was slightly uncomfortable as I can feel the springs on my back but other than that everything was wonderful ”

“Was in the area for a sporting event with friends and needed a place to stay. This property was clean, cozy, and located in a neat area. The surrounding businesses are active through the night but aren't loud enough to make a difference. Would've been nice to explore the Colonial Beach area but didn't have the time to do so. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a clean place to stay in the area.”

“I wanted a cozy retreat from DC over the holiday, and this was perfect. The dog loved running around the lot and taking walks around the vineyard. I loved the views of the pond, the eagles, and having plenty of space for puzzles, drawing, and reading. I took a speaker for tunes. No wifi but my cell worked fine, as did my hot spot. “This house has been beautifully restored and was the perfect getaway for 2 couples & 2 kids under 5. The rooms are spacious, the front porch & back deck are great outdoor spaces, and the kids loved running around the backyard and hanging in the hammocks. The linens were soft & clean & plentiful, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen & for using the grill. Also, the host was very responsive & accommodating.
