“Lovely home in a great location! We had a great time staying at Evergreen Lodge with our extended family. There was plenty of room inside & out for the kids (8 of them!) to play. Everything is as described and pictured in the listing. The location was perfect for driving to all the sites and close to Custer for getting take-out and groceries. The gas grill and firepit were clean and in good working order. There is a second refrigerator in the detached garage which was very useful but it would be……

“We had no idea where to stay and when I came across pictures of this lodge I knew this was it. We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! It was soooo relaxing to come back at night after our adventures to relax on the front porch! Don’t hesitate book this lodge now!! We will definitely be back!”

“Great place to stay! A lot of room for a large group. We had a party of 18 and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. Large kitchen and dinning area accommodate for family gatherings. “An amazing cabin, high on the ledge of the mountain. Note: the drive up to this cabin is very steep, 4-wheel drive is helpful. The view is spectacular, but we enjoyed the star filled night sky the most. Cabin is clean and well stocked. We cooked in every night and enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor grill.”

“We actually never got to stay in this lodge. The management company had double booked and the other people got there first. We never saw anything other than the outside of the house. We ended up taking our whole family to a motel while the management company tried some other rentals in the area. We were offered a 3 bed townhouse….less than half of what we booked. We declined. They then offered us a 3 bedroom chalet. This home had no internet, no tv, no operating grill, not enough chairs to have……

“This spot had everything to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. It is the perfect location to explore the area and the room and home was both luxurious and homey feeling all at the same time. Deb and other guests were warm and welcoming to me and my dog and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. We would love to return and would definitely recommend to others!”
