“Pros: PERFECT location steps from the beach; three bedrooms; quirky vintage experience. Cons: as seen in photos and other reviews, this is a well loved well used very old beach cottage. While cosmetic stuff didn’t matter to us (e.g. backyard is dingy w broken toys and grills), some functional problems were annoying (kitchen sink doesn’t drain and we tried cleaning the trap and it didn’t help; one shower, once turned on, wouldn’t turn off). “A superb house for large families, with double beds in all the bedrooms and two excellent sitting rooms. The house was everything we had hoped for. The location in York is idyllic too and close to two delightful restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend this property to friends and family.”

“Our overall stay was great, very clean , the only negative thing i could say was a little confusion on parking, we came through the restaurant parking lot as directed, parked ne t to the walkeay and steps to help my mom (94) get in the house, the restaurant owner asked me to move my car to another spot which was no big deal once i realized i had to go back out on the street to the neighbors driveway to get to where i was supposed to park, there is an area between the houses which looks like you……

“The place is actually nicer than the photos! Such a short walk to long sands beach. Cottage was well stocked with essentials—paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, towels, kitchen gear. The living area was very comfortable with many board games and books. The upstairs sitting area was a bonus with another tv . The firepit outside looked great, but we didn’t get to use it-the weather didn’t really cooperate with us this weekend. The fact that we could bring our dog was the icing on the……
