“Very enjoyable once we were able to get access to the property. We were told to contact Karen but no phone number left asking local neighbours did they now any phone numbers and one neighbour new the cleaner and she gave us the code to access the property. For the 4 days we were there nobody contacted us or check if we were even there So check in procedure very poor when you’ve been travelling 13hours”

Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. “The lodge is just incredible! The lodge is situated in such a peaceful place, surrounded by cows, sheeps and lake. “Traveled w/a group who have all recently retired. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. Everything was up to date and the decor was perfect. We were comfortable whether we were sitting on the patio or gathering inside, Aine was very helpful and informative. A short drive into Westport, which is a fun town. “Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“The property was a bit tricky to find, as there’s no name or signpost—just number 5. Luckily, we arrived while the host was tidying up after the previous guests, which helped us locate it. The place itself was lovely, though it’s showing a bit of wear here and there. We’ve shared some suggestions with the host and trust they’ll be taken on board. That said, the location is fantastic, and we were blessed with beautiful weather—perfect for relaxing in the garden and exploring the surrounding area.……
