“A great escape with great service. A bit out of town away from the noisy traffic, set in gorgeous surroundings. The room was very large and clean and beds were comfortable. Felt like 5 star. The bar and food options were good. Altogether a great stay where our every need was met.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. ”

“Good food, friendly staff. B-wing of the hotel is very old. You have to change elevators and walk long corridors to access this side. ”

“The services was pathetic. Most of the area was booked for private parties so we couldn't go anywhere. It was like staying in a hotel and not resort. Also, during checkout they took more amount from us. When I checked it, and asked for a refund, they said they have initiated the refund. But I never got it back. They are just thiefs who show you the correct bill. But in final bill which they don't show you they add many bills twice.”

“This hotel is the perfect example of what it is not as being portrayed as! Photos look great, this place is a dump! Very dirty, spiders everywhere are hotel bed sheets still had hair from the previous guests take a look at the tub in the photo! Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. We paid for 3 nights and left after……

“Very helpful and professional staff. Very nice outside breakfast area, nice and clean room with good view, quiet location (you can even hear bird song), relaxed atmosphere, a few km from central Ooty. Small hotel in decent condition, offers tours and more to surroundings”
