“We were in town for a wedding at the Chestnut Inn. We needed a place that was close to the Inn because our 9 month old granddaughter was staying behind with her grandpa. That way her parents could get back to her quickly if needed. Also, other family members who hadn’t met her yet could come to the VRBO and hang out with us for the afternoon in a homey setting. We loved the proximity to the river, the porch and deck, the clean kitchen and the washer/dryer. The only drawback was the very steep……

“This house was beautifully, corky decorated and we all loved it. The hosts provide you with everything from Qtips, to dental plackers to hairdryers, indoor and outdoor games and plenty of towels. The central air was a life saver and the 3 full bathrooms were amazing. Can't say enough about how much we loved this place and will definitely stay again. ”

“Amazing place for a family reunion! Plenty of space and things to do for 3 generations. Pool and pool toys provided hours of fun. Great space for groups to gather and comfy beds.”

“The lake is beautiful and provides activities, the goats are very cute, the house was clean and comfortable, with A/C, plenty of hot water and water pressure for showers, and space for our things. Just what we wanted for a family long weekend with 3 generations. The owners were very responsive. The deck is in desperate need of a coat of paint and some other maintenance though - hopefully the owners can do some upkeep on the outdoor space soon. ”

“Would recommend to anyone. Our family stayed here in 2014. Upgrades on furniture since then we're great. Beds were all comfort, which is huge for us since we used them all. Three generations of us enjoyed the property, house and that fantastic view. What was our family farm (1940’s) could be seen across the valley making it extra special. Thank you to our awesome hosts. Your place allowed us to gather together for a tough weekend.”

“One of the best VRBO‘s I have ever stayed at the host was amazing. I let her know I was traveling with a two year-old and her and her team went out their way to accommodate me to make sure I had everything he needed from highchair, plate, sippy cups blankets, his own personal soaps it was greatly appreciated. The property was very clean and new. I definitely will be back when in the area.”
