“The hotel is pretty good except reception staff. Of course it's a 5 star but some points I'd like to share with everyone. 1.Actually there is no Netflix as they write and reception staff doesn't know what is Netflix. 2. If you dress more formal,reception staff will welcome you more, otherwise they go through SOP and treat you coldly. ”

“It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. “We had a great stay at the Barriere Royal. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. As we are kosher they not only were able to heat up our food for us but picked it up for us since the establishment wouldn’t deliver. The spa was great, breakfast was delicious and expansive. It is right off the beach and walking distance to all the great shopping. The hotel does feel like it needs a refresh - much of the decor is old.
