“We were in Knoxville to be with family and Urban Island was fantastic. You will understand the name of the house when you arrive bc it really is on an island of land! Very nice house with everything you could need. We had a dog we lost a few days before our arrival and the owner’s brought flowers and a dog toy for our other dog. Was really very nice of them! We will definitely be back!”

“My family stopped In for the night on our way home to Ohio from Florida. The location was perfect, just being 10 min from the highway. The house is so charming! The house could use a spring cleaning and the patio furniture needs a good scrubbing but I would defiantly stay at the home again ”

Really enjoyed having our coffee on the front porch!The only note is that the clothes dryer took multiple cycles to dry a load. “The house itself was fine - clean, well stocked, and comfortable beds. The property was not. We had booked this place because they accepted dogs and had a fenced backyard. The grounds were overrun with grass and weeds and with the amount of trash (including broken glass and some very unhygienic items that I won’t mention) in the backyard, we couldn’t let our dog back there, even on a leash. Also, our dog isn’t bothered by outside noises, but if you are avoiding a hotel because your pet is……

“Our daughter is a student at University of Tennessee in Knoxville. We drove down for family weekend and She decided that a quiet weekend on the lake would be better than the hustle bustle of Knoxville. We hired a fishing guide to take us fishing and then watched the football game on TV. The house was perfect. ”

“We spent a week here riding the trails at Windrock OHV. The home is good for larger families with big kitchens and rooms. There were 10 of us and it never felt crowded. Nothing fancy, but it meets the needs when your trail riding. As others have mentioned, it is difficult to drive up near the house without four-wheel-drive, but there is a place at the bottom to park”
