“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. So much nicer than staying in a hotel, and a quick drive to stores and restaurants and to visit family. It was really clean, inviting, and the decor was nice. All the comforts of home, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful area. Comfy bed (2 twins put together as a king which was very comfortable) All the pans/utensils we needed for cooking although we did very little. Nice washer and dryer which was nice since we stayed 6 days. Host was gracious and……

He encouraged us to explore the property and felt genuinely very welcoming. The grounds themselves are quite beautiful and their gardens are incredible! “This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City area for a long weekend.Small but cosy. Quiet, out-of-the way place in a pastoral setting . . . Hillsides; Oaks; Pines; Pond; Geese; Ducks; Boats; Kayaks; Views. Not a stay all day kind of place but nice to come back to after an out-and-about day.Host was gracious with welcome signs and clear use guidelines; Quarters were well maintained with nice kitchen and dining area. Only drawback is one small bathroom……
