Wonderful central location on the peninsula and right across from the state park, making it a breeze to get to any location easily. The owners are exceptionally responsive and have truly thought of everything a guest could need-fully appointed in every way. It was such a pleasure to stay at Lille Cottage! Hope to be coming back soon!”

“Perfect home base for adventuring around Door County for a long weekend. 2 minute drive to Fish Creek, 5 minute drive to Peninsula State Park. 10 minutes to Egg Harbor, 15 minutes to Bailey's Harbor. Kitchen was well stocked, and everything was quite clean. Thanks!”

“This place is great. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views and sunsets. Easy communication with the owner and no suprises. We had a great time and enjoyed fires by the lake and waking up to the sunrise over the lake.”

“Owners were great from the start with good communication and responsive. Location was ideal for access to all that Door County offers. Its central location in the quaint town of Ephraim makes most of Door County’s destinations within easy striking distance. The loft is nicely and uniquely furnished, comfortably useable , with a nice view overlooking the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.”

“I really can't say anything bad about this cottage. I am confused from previous reviews about it being so small. There are 2 bedrooms which basically have ur bed a dresser and a TV... and then the kitchen/dining/living space are all open. We LOVED the jetted tub. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen as many places don't actually have the pots, pans, silverware that is needed. They also had plastic storage bags.This cute cottage has us wishing to come during high season. It is really that……

“We spent 3 nights here during Fall Festival. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was perfect - a short walk to a couple restaurants but not in the middle of all the Sister Bay festival traffic. Although we've been coming to Door for many years - Darla gave us some helpful advice on when to avoid the major crowds over the Festival weekend. Only thing that was a little disappointing was no fire allowed in the fireplace. I get it, it can make a mess and if guests don't……

“We vacationed on Kangaroo Lake every summer for 20 years at another place— East Shorewood Cottages. We loved it, but it was summer only and the cottages are small. It was wonderful to revive memories of a beloved lake in this wonderful house, large enough for our adult children and partners. We had some WiFi issues, but Ryan was super responsive. Highly recommend.”
