“Great location as you can walk to local restaurants and shops! It can be a bit noisy at night with restaurants on both sides but the noise usually subsided by 11 pm. The room is located near train tracks and a train did come through 2 nights but it wouldn't stop us from booming again. ”

“A charming place to stay! The apartment is decorated beautifully and a great area located near bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself however is more of a duplex building. The only downfalls of this is that the walls are paper thin and you’ll be able to hear…everything from other guests staying next door. Hot water did not work for majority of our stay, but fortunately the property manager was quick to send a plumber to fix. Overall a decent place to……

“This one bed room apartment is a wonderful cozy stay. The unit was clean and is great for a couple. The kitchen is well furnished if you want to eat in. The location is great. We were able to get downtown in about 20 minutes and there are several restaurants close by. Our host was very helpful troubleshooting a few minor issues and the checkin process was easy. Definitely recommend if you want to visit Charleston.”

“The house was great. The only reason I gave it four stars in the “online listing” listing is because of the kitchen. It does state that it’s a kitchenette but including explicit verbiage in the actual listing that it does NOT include a stove or oven and it only has a tiny microwave would have been helpful. We probably still would have stayed there but it would have been nice to know in advance. The location is not the best part of town but we didn’t feel unsafe. ”

“The pictures don't do the greatest job showing how the place is set up. There is no "living area or dining area" big enough for a large group. So if you are looking for that there is only a small living room with limited space. We had 12 of us so it was a little difficult to do anything other than be in our rooms. Aside from that the place was clean, and the rooms were nice. As stated in the description the neighborhood it's located in does come as a shock looks wise. Don't be thrown off by……

“I totally enjoyed the stay at the Blue wave. The house was cute and homelike, and for the neighborhood the area seemed bad but no noise no nothing. The house was semi clean, but being though I have 6yrs of housekeeping tidying up and sweeping wasn’t a bother to me, a few trash was left inside under the couch and a sanitary pad was still in the bathroom trash and a few other little minor things that I saw but it didn’t take away from my experience and I would recommend to anyone needing a little……
