“We really enjoyed staying at the Blankenship Farmhouse. We LOVED the PEACEFULNESS and the location as it was very close to the trails we had planned to hike. It was very roomy for our family of 6 and a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. It was very charming!”

“We had 10 people in our party, we enjoyed it very much. Very clean, spacious, the attention to detail and all the extra amenities make it very welcoming. Beautiful views of the mountains, very serene. Comfortable beds, large TV and comfy sofa in the den which is a separate living room to send the teens, family games, a cozy wood fire stove, large kitchen area to make a family dinner, all the amenities made it so nice! Perfect location between Avenue of the Giants and Eureka, our 2 destinations……

“A group of us attend the AVBC beerfest annually, and typically camp at Hendy Woods. This year, we opted to try VRBO, and we may never go back to camping after staying at this charming home, just a few steps away from the beerfest venue! The home was equipped with everything we needed (and then some), the hosts were easy to get in touch with (if needed), and everyone including our pups had the best time enjoying the lovely grounds. Couldn't recommend this place enough! ”

“My bf andIi stayed here for a few days and very much enjoyed it. The property was very easy to find. When we arrived, Bibiana greeted us and showed us around the house. She even gave us some of the eggs her chickens laid (unfortunately, we never got around to cooking them up ). Her house is a little ways away with a separate driveway. However, close enough for her to walk over should there be a major problem. She mentioned that the house we stayed in is actually where she stays a good amount of……

We were up for CalPoly graduation and managed to find time for the Arcata Marsh, Farmers Market, shopping at Holly Yashi jewelry, hiking the Ladybird Grove, touring the Cal Poly campus and an eco-cruise on the Madaket in Eureka. The house was very comfortable, easy to find, had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!”
