The location was perfect right in the middle of town and we were able to walk down to the Headlands State Park as well as the downtown art galleries and cafes. Heather is a fantastic host and we will absolutely seek this place out on our next trip to Mendocino.”

“Wonderful site overlooking the Pacific dunes and ocean. Many places to sit and absorb the view including a fire pit that we used every night. The internet wifi connection was out the entire time but the owner tried hard to rectify. Because of spotty cell service it was hard to get on the net. Despite this, it was a great site to relax and enjoy the isolation. Although we did not use the kayaks, they were convenient to the waters of the estuary and would be a great way to explore.”

“Really enjoyed the cozy vibes of the cottage and well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The view is seriously amazing. Very special to get to relax by the beautiful coastal cliffs. One thing: The doors to the deck look like they're made to open all the way up (and presumably were intended for this) but actually got stuck and became immovable. Flipping through the guidebook for a solution we eventually found a sticky note that said 'don't open the doors, they'll get stuck' -- which is both too little……

“Crabber’s Cottage is centrally located to all eateries in Trinidad, which an excellent coffee place a few yards away. The elevated view of the ocean is lovely. It’s a short drive to the beach. The cottage is exceptionally clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable. ”

“This location was a great find. It's right next to 101 N/S on ramps, very close to dog friendly beaches, and not too far from any store you need in town. Private, fenced yard was a huge plus for the dogs.”

“The location is incredible. Easily walk to everything downtown, the views of the headlands out the north windows is just so peaceful and relaxing. The rocking chairs by the window upstairs was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay here. And our pup loved the yard out back. Even with 2 houses on the same property, there’s plenty of privacy. It’s nice that each rental property has a yard on opposite sides of the buildings so even the dogs get some privacy when they play outside (yards are not……
