VRBO did not send us the code and instructions for check in, but when we messaged the hosts they responded very quickly and got my family in the property right away. Every response we got from them was helpful and so friendly. We were happy with the property. We did not realize how steep the stairs were going to be, but thankfully the hosts have a full bed and bath on the entry level, which worked great for my mom who struggles to get up and down……

“The apartment was just as advertised. We liked its charm and the quirks of staying in a cute little row house. We got metro/bus passes and enjoyed getting to know DC as locals. We walked 5-8 min to the NoMa Metro stop on the Red line every morning, took the metro and bus everywhere we wanted to go and walked back home from the Metro station each night. (There was a bus stop right by the apartment but we just walked.) We could hear the first day care kids arrive in the morning and thought it……

“Overall the place was clean and easy to settle in to. The two things that I have to recommend if I had to would be a couple more throw size blankets. With the group I was in, it was a bit difficult to regulate the temp of the house and make everyone comfortable. The second would be to change the wall mount for the living room tv to one that swivels - that way movie nights are a bit more comfy (we got rained out one day and made this discovery).
