“My sisters and enjoyed a long weekend getaway and also hosted my son and daughter in law who traveled from NC. We had a beautiful stay, the views from the balcony were wonderful, saw the deer every morning. Very peaceful and quiet area, about a 15 minute drive to local restaurants. We visited Smith Mountain State park a few times, which is a beautiful park, about a 30 minute drive on the other side of the lake. We also enjoyed swimming right off the dock at the condo! “We had a lovely Labor Day weekend at this beautiful property with breathtaking views. The house was set up perfectly for us - the kids loved the lower level bunks, and the parents had comfortable rooms upstairs. We spent a lot of time enjoying the sun porch, and the kids even braved the pool (despite it being a cooler weekend). The tree house was also a favorite spot for the kids to play and read. The hike to the water is challenging, but spending an afternoon in the sun at the 2-story dock was……
