“What a fantastic place to spend an evening. A 10-15 minute drive from Shannon airport this facility is also a 1/4 mile walk from Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellies. Plenty of eateries and places to shop plus a petrol station close to fill up at before returning your rental car. The room was very comfortable and Sean made us a breakfast that was second to none. I will highly recommend staying at this establishment.”

“Host was friendly and helpful providing suggestions and directions to the area. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and tasty food. Area was quiet but only a 20minute walk to the town centre making it easy to explore the area. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks ”

“We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. ”
