“We needed a place to call home base while exploring Jim Thorpe and the Lehigh River Gorge. We also needed someplace quiet to work, just in case. This was a great choice for both. Walkable into town, or just a super short ride. Comfortable and all the needs for two people. Close to the rail trail, could walk the short-ish walk into Jim Thorpe town, either via the street or the rail trail. Close to hiking (we did bald mountain) and biking paths. “It was perfectly decorated. We loved the owls and creativity and color choices that went into creating an artsy spa like oasis in Jim Thorpe. We went to 2 shows at the Opera House St. Patsweekend it was perfect. ”

“Not at all an accurate description of property. While the room you stay in is very cozy, well furnished, and cute, it is just a single room inside of a dwelling. This is NOT a one bedroom home. You have no access to a kitchen, sitting room, dining room, or TV room. Also the bathroom does not have a bidet as stated in listing. “Me and my family stayed here back in April of 2025 and had the BEST experience. The house was very clean and organized and it truly felt like home. There wer no restrictions on the amenities like the fireplace or the outdoor grill and the host were very friendly and responsive. As long as you follow the rules (which are not crazy) and clean after yourself you'll be good to go. I'd happily stay here with my family again. ”
