“We enjoyed a few days in this charming cottage but plan for a longer stay this fall. Though small, it was perfect for us. We enjoyed slow mornings at the dining table and quiet evenings in the outdoor spaces. Although we did not cook much, the kitchen was well appointed and included a washer and dryer, which worked great. We enjoy knowing the home has history. The garden and hot tub area were beautiful and private.. a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The beach, harbor, a fun……

“We loved this apartment. The unit is beautiful and stylish and very quiet. The bathroom especially is full of luxurious high end touches (like double shower heads and heated floors). The porch features gorgeous flowers and lovely resident hummingbirds. The location is ideal: great coffee at Spike’s and markets for essentials right around the corner; everything the Castro has to offer nearby; easy access to Muni at Castro Station; a short lovely walk to Dolores Park and the Mission. “The studio apartment was clean and comfortable for 2 adults, and had all the amenities for a great 3-day weekend. Private covered parking was easy, and the unit was conveniently located in the Northstar Village. We walked everywhere - skiing, dining, shopping, etc.”

“Very restful! We'll be back. Loved seeing baby seagulls on the rooftops of neighboring homes. Parents get a "bit loud" when they bring the young ones food. All part of the charm, no matter the hour!!!”

“The location was beautiful and remote. I felt a little silly because I had forgot to download my driving instructions prior to getting to the cottage (no Internet signal!). But I was graciously given them again with no problem and a follow up text from my host. He made it easy. Everything felt homey, comfortable and easy. I loved it as a secluded getaway and the hot tub and trails were lovely perks. ”
