“Sandhill Cottage was brand new and well appointed. It was in a quiet corner surrounded by trees for privacy. It was a great jumping off point for us to explore the "little finger" of Michigan. We had room for our motorcycle trailer and loved the front porch. The only suggestion we have would be to include a grill.”

“If you are looking for “fancy”, this isn’t it. But if you are looking for comfortable and a great location, close to downtown and quiet street, this definitely fits the bill. I slept really great here. The owner very thoughtfully provided fans in the bedrooms. We only used one bed out of the 5 available upstairs, but the bed my husband and I slept in was very comfortable and the fans helped us have a really restful night. The upstairs bathroom has a great design with lots of extra counter space……

“My friends and I had a great stay here. While the interior of the home has not been updated since it was built, the furniture, floors and even the walls were spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. It is obvious the owner cares a great deal for the property. It is located very close to downtown Traverse City while still maintaining a rural and secluded feel in the woods. The property is large and has plenty of room for parking vehicles or entertaining friends & family. Furthermore the owner……

“Perfect spot for the two of us. Super close to the harbor/downtown. Ice cream shop with picnic tables less than a block away. Amish style shop less than a block with sandwiches made to order.The only negative is how tiny the bathroom is.We loved it”
