“The place is run by enthusiasts, motivated by the architectural significance of the 60s hydro-electric project. If that rings your bell, go for it. If not, think twice. The food is good and honest, I enjoyed the local trout for dinner and hand smoked salmon for breakfast (you can tell it's the real deal because there's the odd bone in, a machine wouldn't miss that). Apart from the food, view, nature, history, architecture and some pool access I didn't use, there isn't much else. No disco, no 24……
