“Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!”

“We had a gathering with ten people. All our adult children and their loved ones slept in the loft upstairs ( twin beds with trundles) and one double. It was like camp:)! They had a bathroom up there as well. My husband and I stayed on main floor and there is a bathroom on that floor also. We had an amazing time. Took the kyaks from the property into the Crystal River, Lake Michigan beach walking and biking distance right down road( beautiful sunsets) and town is a 3 min bike ride. This is our……

“Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks”

“This is our second time here and it is a slice of heaven. A beautiful piece of property. We spent each of our evenings in the back yard at the fire pit. The house is clean and well appointed (even with a S’Mores kit). The hosts are excellent. A fantastic VRBO. ”

“What a great place in Glen Arbor to stay. We had visited this special town several times before and had always admired this cottage while at the Glen Arbor Winery across the street. The location is just perfect and everything was just as listed. The host of this property communicates very well. She provided us with clear directions of items we were responsible for during our stay; i.e. trash service, recycling, etc. Check-in and check-out were a breeze! Our family is hopeful to stay here again.”
