“Shore Beats work is a lovely property. The grounds are well maintained and it is back far enough from the road that you don't hear road noise. The interior is comfortable and spacious. There were ten in our group and we did't feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare meals easily. Although there are many amenities to the property that we were unable to utilize due to the rainy weekend, we liked the huge outdoor seating area on the deck, swing and firepit. The host……

“Gorgeous property right outside of town. Nestled in the woods, its a quiet, picturesque, and ideal for a relaxing getaway (yet still 10 minutes to lots of great local attractions). The hosts are super responsive and we loved the boat charter. We plan to visit and enjoy this property again soon!”

“6 adults and 7 kids 8 and under - lots of fun and shenanigans in this house that provided enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The dining and kitchen spaces worked well for the group, allowing lots of play space in the open living area for the kids while adults cooked or chilled. Basketball hoop in the driveway was a nice plus for the older girls. Fire pit was great although we had to buy own wood. Well stocked kitchen was heavily used, with appliances all very adequate. “If you are planning on visiting the beautiful Charlevoix area, look no further! This is the place for you!! We have stayed in many private homes, and this was by far one of the nicest cleanest and spacious places we’ve ever stayed in! The kitchen was a delight to dinner in, the beds were VERY comfortable, and the hot tub was enjoyed immensely. Thank you Ramy!!”

“We recently had a great 4-night stay at the Charlevoix House. We thought Stephan, the innkeeper was wonderful and seemed to truly enjoy his role there. He was very attentive and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was a good one. His breakfast dishes were delicious and fresh every day. The house itself is showing its age and needs some tlc but we'd like to think that's part of the charm.
