“This was a great cottage for our family of 4. Our kids (9 and 6) loved swimming and fishing off the dock. We used the 2 kayaks and pool toys that were available. The fire pit was great for smores and hot dogs at night. The lake bottom was very sandy by the shore which made it pleasant to walk around in. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We loved the historic feel. This is how a lake cottage is supposed to be. I'd recommend this property and plan on returning.”

“1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. The time flew by very fast & that helps explain how our time was very enjoyable. We liked feeling so welcome, right from the start. We had a chance to enjoy water (right out the back door)... “We greatly enjoyed our time at the Doctor's Cottage. The quaint and clean retreat is located in an idyllic spot for a relaxing time away from everyday stress. The lake lives up to it's name. The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay.”
