“We greatly enjoyed our time at the Doctor's Cottage. The quaint and clean retreat is located in an idyllic spot for a relaxing time away from everyday stress. The lake lives up to it's name. The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay.”

“Serene! We had an absolutely lovely time. The cottage is cute and cozy and was spaced out to fit 5 guests surprisingly well. The lake was so calm and beautiful, hardly any boats, and lots of wildlife to see. Christin was a marvelous host; she was very speedy with all responses, and super accommodating. ”

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and access to the lake was excellent. Easy check in. Might want to bring a full sized knife and all seasonings/oil you’ll need to cook, but otherwise it worked well to prepare our meals as needed. We appreciated the fans to help take the edge off as it was pretty warm weather during our visit. Took a little bit for the ac to cool in all the upstairs rooms. Loved having a kayak we could use. “Nice place. Loved sitting out on the lower deck looking at the lake. If you are looking for lake access, this isn't it. Rent a boat for a day or go to Pokagon State Park and use their beach. We lost our long-term rental on Lake James when the owner sold it. In the past, every summer we would drive over the border to play golf on Iyopawa and we knew the area. This house backs up to the 2nd tee. We picked this place based on the golf course. We have our favorite local restaurants. We liked to walk……

“The house was amazing.All the amenities you need while going away.Kitchen was fully stocked with necessities.Bathrooms were fully stocked, hand soap, shampoo, towels and toilet paper too. Not just 2 rolls either or made of sandpaper. I noticed the solid door on the bathrooms. when redoing a house most people stick to the hollow doors to keep the price down, but the bathrooms were solid. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of fans to go around.Outdoor furniture was available, (the deck gets very hot) ……
