“Great! Would stay again”

“Unfortunately, our trip was too short to enjoy all the amenities this resort had to offer. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and found the location great for trip to the NP and the town of Jackson.My only suggestion was better direction as to where to check in. I thought the condo rentals might be separate from the hotel resort itself, yet they were one in the same. ”

“We stayed for a honeymoon (first get away with a one, and two year old) and our first room was looking out at the roof. Nicole moved us to avoid the construction noise and upgraded our room which was so nice. The new room was the balcony right next to (and one floor up) our old room…The construction woke us up 3 mornings at 8:30/9am….when I spoke to the front desk the second time, it was the front desk manager. “Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious……

“This is an older motel but very clean. It is the perfect place to unplug. Even if you dont want to. This wasn't a big deal for me but it might be for others. The only place the wifi works is at the office/camp store, no cell service and no tv's. It was very relaxing to sit around the camp fire each night. The rooms are clean but small. The shower was also very small.”

“Quoted one price one VRBO then when we got our confirmation they let us know they will collect another $48 per night resort fee when we checked in. The place is out dated and not worth the money. We switched after night one to a private condo for less per night that was MUCH better.”
