“The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. ”

“BEWARE -SCAM The property was booked for a member of staff, when they got there at the end of a long day the hotel did not exist. There is NO hotel of this name on that road. We did receive an email from Expedia telling us there was no room available at 5am the NEXT morning. The money has been taken for the room as well. Shame on the hotel and Expedia for advertising this hotel. We require a refund”

“What a joke! The hotel cancelled on me right before we were due to stay because of an apparent leak. I think managed to book a different hotel at twice the price as it was so last minute. Hucknall house has now blocked my phone number and I still am waiting for a refund. ”

“The pictures looked good but the place was terrible, its taking along time for a refund even though its been accepted. The toilet would flush and leak out at the back, 1 small room with lots of cramped beds, glue on the floor was everywhere, the shower was blocked and leaked underneath. The list goes on”

“Comfy beds, clean throughout and for a small space contained everything needed. WiFi good. Beware the Satnav as there is a way to access the property that does not require driving through a small stream ”
