“This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala.”

The facility itself is a bit nostalgic and unique, and along with that comes aging plumbing and electrical supply problems. You will enjoy Gately, particularly the staff, but expect a bit older amenities.”

I will look for alternatives since this hotel started to charge $10 one way airport shuttle per person while the price is still higher compared to any similar US Best Western location. Something is rotting at the core of African hotel industries. ”
