“El alojamiento es excepcional. Lugar muy limpio y nuevo. Situado al lado de Santa Elena. Cerca de los parques más importantes de actividades de canopy. Personal atento y amable. Buen desayuno. Las comunicaciones son un poco complicadas. Las carreteras, o mejor dicho caminos, son muy malos y en toda la zona es imprescindible tener un coche 4x4. ”

“We had a wonderful time at The Red Sunset of Guanacaste! The house is amazing, the views are spectacular and the host, Patrick, was so so helpful! And we can’t say enough about the wonderful delicious healthy breakfasts that Lisa and Mar made every day. Each day Patrick helped with our plans , sometimes arranging in advance. He also had terrific recommendations for dinner, we all loved the evening at Gingerbread Restaurant, a superb dining experience.Can not say enough good things , thank you……

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“We had a really great stay at Villa Marcela. It is perfectly located just off the main road in La Fortuna so you are close to all the action but out of the way a bit. There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more.”

“We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The property was well maintained and very safe. It had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels for showers and poolside. Plenty of room for gathering inside and out. The pool and hot tub was a welcomed addition. Private balconies for each bedroom. It was absolutely amazing!”
