“Rooms were great, bit of hall noise. Area was a bit suspect though. Homeless camp around the corner.”

“The Heliotrope was a great small motel. Pretty close to the center of town. Not really walking distance, but a bike would be perfect. Friendly staff. Close to RR tracks but they provide earplugs. I didn't even hear the train but, my partner did. All and all a really nice spot at a good price. ”

“Requested room away from stairs and elevator and was put in a room across from stairwell. When I mentioned it to clerk, she acted as if she didn’t care. Hampton Inns are my go to places to stay so this was unusual. ”

“I was greeted right away upon entering. There was a tray of fresh cookies awaiting. The staff was very helpful. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely come back and stay when I'm in Bellingham again.”

“Had an issue with the cleanliness of our stay at check in, service staff upgrafed us to a 2 bedroom suite. After we explained our daighter was allergic to the pet dander we found on the pullout couch. We appreciated this reasonable courtesy given the circumstances.”

“Not as much room services. They provided dishes and glasses, etc, but no dishwasher for washing. You couldn’t adequately hand wash the items as there was no dish strainer, no towels for kitchen.”

“The room was a good size clean and organized. The pool on the other hand was freezing cold and the jets in the Jacuzzi did not work. The staff was nice and pleasant.”

“The heater was very noisy. There were three people in our occupancy. On the second day of our stay, we went to the counter to ask for bath towels, but the counter staff were only willing to give us two copies. If I want three towels, l would need to pay.😠 ”

“Love the full kitchen!! thanks, wonderful time Oh, maybe taking out the garbage could be not a must. Hard to find the garbage on a dark rainy morning :)”

“It was a quick stay, as we arrived late at night (after 10pm) and departed in the morning around 9am. It was pet friendly and fairly close to the border. I imagine it would have a different feel in the summer, as the pool and hot tub was closed. We were impressed by the breakfast, which wasn’t great, but exceeded our expectations. Also, a disc golf course was within a 10 minute walking distance of the hotel. BIG plus. ”
