“I would recommend coming in from the West. The driveway is steep and comes off the road such that turning in from the other direction is scary. For a moment, I thought we would go over the steep embankment trying to do a multipoint turn. The room was small, but cozy, although the door did not seal well when closed. I never managed to get a shower, as the mixer would only provide all hot or all cold water. The river view is great. The breakfast was great, but you might want to bring margarine or……

“I am going to ignore the renovation that is on going. The receptionist did a great job seeing how a tour bus group was also arriving. The room was clean and quiet. Very spacious and the decor was good. It did not have that cookie cutter look. There was lots of room to move around in. The bathroom made better use of the space under the sink for storage of the towels. I like not having doors on the shelves under the sink great because I immediately saw where everything was. “This was an inexpensive room where we crashed for 6 hours after a long travel day. It suited this need perfectly. While it’s definitely older and dated, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included but we didn’t stay long enough to partake so I can’t comment. ”
