River not as close as expected, but a short drive to a number of state parks offering boating and hiking which is why we were there. Steep stairs to second floor bedrooms. Would stay again. ”

“A quiet and convenient place to stay for a nearby event. Furnishings are simple but certainly adequate for one or two persons. Bed is comfortable. Live Oak is very close by if you need a town. Cooking is limited to a hot plate or pizza oven, so would have liked to have a microwave. Altogether a nice place and an enjoyable stay. Thanks.”
