The owner was very easy to work with and provided lots of valuable information on the property in general, houseboat specifically, and attractions in the area. We loved sitting out on the balcony area watching boats, barges, and all kinds of wildlife float by. The check in process is a little confusing, but that's more because of the way the area is set up. “We have never stayed in a houseboat before and this experience was great! The accommodations were clean and well stocked. We were within walking distance of the marina & less than 10 miles away from the nearest grocery. Best part is that we were able to dock our boat right up to the houseboat. We would absolutely stay again. The cons, if your a Verizon customer you pretty much have NO Service.”
