“The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of……

“Amazing ambience, lovely scenery upon the bank of Hudson. Easy drive to Hudson and Bard College. The only thing to mentally prepare for is that life is not as fast paced as NYC. Go with the flow and be nice to the staff because during high season they take care of lots of people without up staffing. ”

“Needed a few nights to crash while waiting on car repairs, this spot fit our budget and is definitely a no-frills location. meaning the fixtures were a little worn out- but the sheets were clean and the water was hot. It suited our needs just fine. special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk that helped us jump our rental car when the battery died. He wasnt able to jump us with his battery pack, but he kindly put us in touch with another guest (thanks Louis!) who helped us with his own……
