“The location of this cabin is amazing. It is within 15 minutes of Hastings, Prescott and Afton but feels far out in the country. You can see the beautiful St Croix River through the windows and there is easy access to Afton State Park a 1/4 mile down the road. The cabin itself is quaint without many frills but has everything that is needed and the beds were very comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the week to have a time of silence and solitude.”

“To start, the Host was very accommodating to our schedule and we were able to start our wonderful getaway a few hours early. We arranged a time to meet and check in and he was right on time. The home was very cozy and had lots of different things for the family to do. Very peaceful location and a great view. Wish we were able to spend a couple more days away with the family but we were able to make tons of memories in only a short amount of time!”

“It is a beautiful, clean, retreat-like spot. We were grateful the soaps, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were unscented. The kitchen had everything we needed-nice plates (two sizes), bowls, serving pieces, nice silverware, glasses, plastic cups, an assortment of pots and pans. The beds were amazing so comfortable. We realized we need a new bed at home. The 2nd refrigerator was a surprise. We did the flowers for the wedding and had a place to keep them for the next day. The host so responsive……

“Peacful, clean lake on a groomed sandy beach. Everything we needed to create family memories - gorgeous cottage, plenty of rooms with bedrooms for all, beautiful outdoor patio with patio swing, bonfire ring, fully stocked kitchen, 3 bathrooms, lots of fishing off amazing dock, lots of wildlife. Cottage is close to shopping, if needed. Host and Hostess were excellent communicators and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!”
