“The place was nice for what I needed. Overall a good place. Had the essentials and was clean.One thing I do want to note is it was quite stuffy. I tried to open the windows but there were no screens (and lots of bugs/spiderwebs on the windows). The filter on the AC unit needed to be changed, and it smelled a little moldy. The shower also leaked quite badly when I used it. Overall good, but maybe a couple small things to address. ”

“The Brownsville Retreat was lovely and easy to get to and from during our excursions out into the area. The kitchen was nicely stocked for light meals. The road noise was more minimal than I expected. Neighbors were quiet and courteous. I would certainly stay here again. ”

“This was perfect for a spur of the moment trip, which ours was. Cost was what talked us into this much needed trip. We love National Parks and having Mammoth Cave National Park so close was perfect. Room was a little musty but we turned the A/C down and that disappeared fast. I would suggest making the Two outlets by the bed into the ones that have USB ports with regular plugs. I totally forgot our plugs but had the cords. Other then that it was just what we needed.”

“Nice and clean. Only five minutes from water park and sporting venue was right down the road. The best part was every room had its own bathroom which is a must with a large family. ”

“The place was just what we needed for attending a family reunion in town. Having bathrooms and showers in each of the four bedrooms is hard to find and a definite plus. It was also great to have laundry access as well.”
