“The house was nice and spacious for our group of 6. Had room for trailers and side by sides. Awesome area for riding. And the restaurant in front of the house is good. If you’re planning on doing lots of cooking might want to bring your own supplies as they have a limited amount of cookware. The beds were great if you like a firm bed. The communication with owners was great. Will definitely return. ”

“We stayed at leatherwood for one night and headed a couple of miles down the road to the outfitter before starting our paddle trip. Leatherwood is a great and spacious house with everything you need. If you’re driving in the dark the sign can be a bit hard to see but if you’re looking out for it, it’s no problem at all! “The home is fascinating. We could have wandered throughout it for days.The detail and design are amazing. Kathy is a lovely host and the grounds are gorgeous. We were fortunate enough to see the falls in all their glory and hiked to the lower and upper levels. The deck has perfect views of all things nature and bird watching which made for a great backdrop to relax and catch up. Also, this house was SPOTLESS (a hard feat so embedded in nature).
