“Over price, facilities too old”

“On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. ”

“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”

“Kad lovely stay here in nice big comfortable room with sea view. Thought the cooked breakfast could be a bit better. Overall good experience had.”

“Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra.”

“Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. ”

“Highly recommended. The location/area is beautiful, very quiet, safe, very clean, a beautiful design, all brand new, very warm. A top class. The hostess Carol is amazing, very friendly, accommodating and extremely hospitable. Carol takes great care and attention to details to make a breakfast.”

“J'ai été très bien reçu. Ma chambre était propre, spacieuse et très confortable. J'ai utilisé une salle de bain partagée qui, elle aussi était propre. J'ai vraiment été satisfaite de mon séjour.”

“Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. ”

“Arbour Guesthouse is a simple place but it's clean and it's a good value (considering that accomodations in Oban are a bit pricy). We regretted though that the "double bed" was only 120 cm and not properly advertised as sub-standard. It would be nice as well to have good curtains (blackout and down to the floor) as up north the sun rises very early in summer.”
