“We just love these cottages and the community. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter. Everything is clean and this cottage had all the kitchen utensils and equipment needed. The only think is the upstairs area gets quite warm to due to fireplace having to be on. Maybe install another ceiling fan in the bedroom? We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.”

“This rental is a perfect place for a small family or two couples to base their Lake Superior adventure from. There’s enough room for everyone to have their own space as well as room for everyone to get together to play a game or share a meal. Wi-Fi was great and kitchen was stocked appropriately.”

“We loved our stay at Pepin cabin. It was in a nice wooded location outside of town and very peaceful! We enjoyed the close location to a beach and the wildlfe that was curious about us. It was the perfect size for our group and the little bonus cabin was so cozy for my son and girlfriend so they had a little more privacy. The only complaints we would have is the woodchops used for the path from where we parked to the house made it a little messy and we swept the front a few times to stop……

“The cabin was very nice. It was a central location for visiting several waterfalls. We never cooked or grilled at the cabin so I can't comment on those but everything looked fine. It was a really quiet get-away.”

“Great place for a large group to stay at Whitecap. Easy ski in/ski out access with lots of amenities. Large shared space and plenty of private rooms with bathrooms. Great stay.”

“House fit our group perfectly! It was clean, beds comfy and shampoo, conditioner and soap in all the bathrooms was a nice touch! Loved the fireplace. Cozy. Never needed to get into our cars the whole time. Not a bad walk to the lodge from the house. ”

“Lots of room, very clean. Only sleeps 13 on beds. The rest are pull out couches. Nicely updated and remodeled. Lots of charming mining themed decorations. Fully stocked kitchen. Very easy in out off of the ski hill. ”

“The cabin is cozy -- a lofted bedroom overlooks the living area above the ground-floor (private) room. The whole cabin is well-heated by the fireplace and, in warmer months, the porch looks like a lovely place to eat and relax. The cabin is located in a small neighborhood of similar cabins, all separated from each other by well-preserved woods, which keeps everything feeling quite private and natural. All in all, it's a great place and we enjoyed our stay!”
